You put a smile on my face when I read that you "used to be" on DA! Score one for sanity! My daughter (Laura, 19) is on DA. She wouldn't let me on, but did find SA for me. I think SA is so much more Art oriented. And while I'm ranting... (please don't take this wrong), is there even the remotest possibility we could talk you out of using PH as your avatar? Or have I just burned out on seeing that little B... plastered all over the place? If you say no, I will understand, and never mention it again. PS... buy some film!!!
haha I'm sorry to say my Paris icon will be here to stay for a while until I get round to making a new one.
I really like Paris, I love her TV show and the clothes she wears.
I liked DA, it was alright. I didn't get much help with my photography though. I got loads of comments but they were mostly things like 'omg ur guinea pig is well cute!!!' which got a bit annoying after a while.
Hi, and welcome to the club. I like "after the storm". Good composition, lighting, and color. You get an "A" for this one!!! I look forward to seeing more of your stuff. BTW, do you have a polarizing filter? I have them on all my lenses, it's an essential accessory. Anyways, we'll (Schink and I), will be watching...
I think so, I'm not sure what all the features of my camera are. I have a panasonic dmc-fz10 which is what I used for all my photos. I take loads and loads of photos and most of them don't come out well. It's usually the lighting I have trouble with. I was lucky with 'after the storm' as the weather was right so it came out well and I was able to use my car to lean the camera on. I need to get a tripod as I find alot of my pictures come out blurry unless I can find something to lean the camera on. I'd like to get some more lenses for it sometime too.
Thanks for the watch!
Hey there! A tripod is an excellent buy. I'm old school; I tried digital but have gone back to film. I like the results better. I couldn't get good color rendition with the camera we were using, and since I bought it to archive my artworks, that was very important. Besides, I've been doing film for 40 yrs, so why change now? Sonia and I started "Burning Man" club... check it out...
I have a film camera too. I'm not sure what one though I haven't used it for ages. I like digital as I can take loads of photos and just delete the bad ones!
I'd like to get some new lenses for my camera too, I'd like a macro one. I have lots of stick insects and I'd like to be able to take close up photos of them.
What are your favourite anime series'?
The only ones I've watched are Cowboy Bebop and Love Hina, I'd like to watch more.
Oh yeah I've seen a film called My Neighbour Totoro too that was really good.
